There are some things in life you just have to see for yourself. Today, at the trendy Soho Hotel, slap bang in the middle of London Fashion Week, the place is swarming with blazer-sporting dandies and the dolled-up darlings of the fashion industry. It's like a scene from Zoolander, especially when Incubus's Brandon Boyd stands up in the middle of them all, not looking out of place in the slightest.
In sharp contrast, when HIM frontman Ville Valo joins us, he sticks out like a sore thump. It's partly because he looks like he just rolled out of bed but mostly because, while every pouting primadonna in the vincinity aches to achive coolness, Ville just exudes it. Lives it and breathes it without even trying.
Well, I think Kerrang! just nailded it.
